I wanted to take a break from all the last minute photo edits, the frantic gift wrapping and the holiday parties to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a joyful New Year. I hope you can spend it with those you love. 2013 was a fabulous year. We bought our first home, we got a puppy, we were able to be a part of some of our closest friends' weddings and my clients were amazing! God definitely provided. I can't wait to see what 2014 will hold!

Nayfa Family Preview {One Year Session}
Check out this adorable little man! I was welcomed into the Nayfa home to commemorate their son's first birthday. I love being able to capture little ones at home, where they're comfortable and relaxed. Luckily there was a break in the cold weather so we were able to venture outside for a few shots too. John is such a happy child and a future heartthrob with those baby blue eyes! Make sure to leave some comments for this adorable fam!

The Casteel Family {Dallas Newborn Family Photographer}
The Casteel family welcomed their second baby girl into the world earlier this month. I was lucky enough to be invited into their home to capture some of the first few moments. I can't get over how adorable these two little girls are or that this mom just had a baby! Doesn't she look fabulous?

Lora and Matt {Argyle Wedding Photographer}
Lora and Matt were a total joy to work with - fun, easygoing, and so in love. They officially tied the knot in the Solomon Islands a few months ago and came back to Texas to renew their vows and celebrate with family and friends. I have to say that these two definitely know how to throw a party! Their reception included glow sticks and s'mores and the dance floor was out of control - complete with my first time to personally experience the harlem shake. Can you guys renew your vows more often??

Tough Mudder St. Louis {Event Photographer}
St. Louis hosted a great Tough Mudder. The weather was amazing and I remembered sunscreen this time! If you aren't familiar with Tough Mudder you should definitely check them out. They have raised over $6.5 million for the Wounded Warrior Project. They support a great cause and they put on a pretty hardcore 12 mile obstacle course.
The St. Louis costumes weren't as crazy as the ones in Austin last year (not surprising, KEEP AUSTIN WEIRD!). Fortunately my husband and father-in-law wore tiger stripes to keep things interesting... and Dan also donned a mustache, which luckily has since been removed.
